Welcome

 Hello!

    I am a senior that is wrapping up my bachelor's degree classes to begin student teaching this fall of 2024. I plan to go into Elementary Education and so far I am loving the time I spend within the classroom. Since I am so close to the end, I feel like I have a lot on my plate! The picture below is of my family! They have been an amazing support system for me through this phase of my life. 



    Currently, I am a nanny for an 18 month old boy along with being a full time student. I have been with this family for over a year now and it has been amazing to watch not only him, but their whole family adjust to their new life since he is their first! I find nannying to be really rewarding and believe that teaching will make me think the same.

    In my free time, I enjoy reading, binging TV series, spending time with friends or family, and traveling! I live with 4 roomates as I am away for school, but I plan to return home to complete my student teaching at the end of July!

    Ooo, I love that you are caring for a boy the same age as my grandson! I hope you like my stories! You have a great gift, watching a child grow. It's amazing. It looks like you have a great support group!

    I am so excited you are ending your college journey! It seems like we have been in classes for a long time now, but it is nearing the end. I would have to agree, the work load right now seems almost impossible. You got this, though! I have never babysat, except close friends a few times. I always imagine your life like the Nanny with them!
    You are going to make a great educator! I cannot wait to hear about the great things you do as a teacher so very soon.
